The Vanguards, Dao's Bodyguards Part 1: Assembly

Well it been a while, I decide to post this here more because I want to share my idea and how it came to be and how it look in the wile it progress. Ron at FTW, inspired me to do better and improve on my work. This weekend I spend a chunk of money to build this vanguard and to do a spider theme Space marine army.

Those vanguards are a lot of work and lot of detail are still need to be done. I'm missing some Purity seal and chapter icon (that I still need to decide on what to do and I need someone to design it for me any taker).

Well I have a few pic of the progress so far on those. they are mostly assemble except one. I am missing some piece for the jump pack on my last man.

Titan problem and A new LM battalion

Well I make a mistake following the plan on the titan, wil ltry to fix it and see if I can salvage the legs.

I also I acquired a old battalion of LM in preperation of my tournement next week. long week ahead

Project Ares

The Land Raider Ares as always facinate me. Having a heavy siege tank in a Space marine army was a small dream to me. I decide to have a go at it and create this monster.

I should be buying the piece I need in the following weeks, and if im right I will have a rhino/razorback for my company as well as a heavy siege tank.

Progress report

Here a small progress report, I finished doing my company marking on my guys and now in process of doing the small work need to personalise each one, and that until I get some money for the LM army that I need for the 28/02/10 tourney at the local GW.

Picture will follow on the Amethys Dragon Board as usual.

Shame and Defeat

The Amethys dragon wore defeated last night at the Hand of Eldar. What a shame I was not prepare for those, I wish I had a Librairing to help me out with those perky psychic power.

First real Battle

Later Today I will face my first real battle with my new army. It is suppose to be agains either Eldar or Chaos Space Marine. The guy I play with love mechanize army so I will face tanks and ordonance weapon platform.

I will keep you hope to date.

P.s.: I bought a drop pod today to be able to maximize my dread assault capabylity. Let see if it is worth it.
